Thomas Kiblin - CEO and Founder
Tom Kiblin founded Virtacore Systems, Inc. to fill a marketplace void - affordable custom designed and supported virtualization and cloud hosting solutions to meet the demanding needs of web-centric entrepreneurs, developers and enterprises. His customer-focused vision and emphasis on technical excellence are the result of other recent entrepreneurial endeavors and over 15 years of progressive engineering, management and business development experience at high tech industry leaders including Wellfleet Communications/Bay Networks (acquired by Nortel), International Networks (acquired by Lucent), Village Networks, YDI/Proxim Wireless and PCCW Global Web Hosting.
As a serial entrepreneur, Mr. Kiblin has a proven track record in identifying and exploiting marketplace opportunities and the deployment of software, systems, and networks. In 2005, he founded PowerVS to focus on virtualization environments for voice applications and in 2006, he founded Power VPS to provide consumer grade server virtualization technologies.
Mr. Kiblin's expansive technical expertise spans server virtualization, cloud hosting, telecommunications, data communications and information systems. Technical proficiencies include deep knowledge in networking technologies (TCP/IP, IP/MPLS, BGP, OSPF, DWDM), a broad range of server hardware, server software, Linux and Windows operating systems, programming languages, virtualization and infrastructure consolidation, SAN management and redundancy, high availability, and failover.
As a business leader, Mr. Kiblin takes an active interest in developing strong personal relationships with customers, partners and employees. His cultivated management skills include building sales channels, organizing technical teams and processes, establishing strategic partnerships, managing complex sales and attracting and leading top people.
Mr. Kiblin’s computer sciences education has been continuously enhanced by extensive ongoing technical and sales management training (TAS, MPG, PMI).

Ed Dailey - Financial Advisor
Mr. Dailey has over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, senior manager and strategic advisor at emerging companies. He joined IKANO in 2005 as a virtual full-time advisor, having worked together with Mr. Naspo at several companies over the past eight years. Mr. Dailey was co-founder and former CFO of ezboard, a leading web-based social networking provider, where he continues to serve as a director. Mr. Dailey earned a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Notre Dame and an MBA with distinction from Cornell University.
Dave Dobel - Director of Marketing
Dave Dobel is responsible for all aspects of Virtacore's marketing including strategy, branding, marketing communications, product marketing and public relations. Mr. Dobel has 25 years of experience marketing new networking and information technologies at MCI, IDB Worldcom, UUNET Technologies, DIGEX, Winstar Communications and Data Systems & Solutions. Mr. Dobel holds a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the College of William & Mary.
Daniel Lollman - Customer Support Manager
As the head of the Customer Support Team for Virtacore Systems, Inc., Daniel Lollman is responsible for managing all aspects of customer satisfaction. His experience includes the administration of thousands of servers for customers and internal infrastructure.
Prior to joining the company in 2006, Mr. Lollman was a technical analyst at Net Sentry Corporation/Black Lotus Communications where he administered servers and provided technical support for customer issues. Mr. Lollman graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City and is currently working on a Bachelor of Science in Computer Security and Technology at Drexel University.

Jonathan Wolberg - Data Center Operations Manager
As Virtacore’s Data Center Operations Manager, Jon Wolberg’s primary responsibility is to ensure maximum uptime for customers. Mr. Wolberg has vast knowledge and experience in both hardware and software including load balancers, firewalls, clustered environments, virtualization, enterprise grade networking, and highly available environments.
Prior to joining Virtacore Systems in 2006, Mr. Wolberg served as Network Engineer and a Web Systems Engineer at PCCWGlobal in Reston, VA. He also held IT positions at companies in California. His certifications include: VMWare, VCP, VSP, VTSP and Datacore Certified Installation Engineer.
David Pape - Systems Engineering Manager
David Pape leads Virtacore Systems’ Systems Analyst, Systems Engineering and Systems Administration teams. In addition to hiring, training, managing, and motivating these teams, his responsibilities include research on new technologies and products, and designing high-availability deployments for customers.
Mr. Pape has been promoted several times within the company having started as a Support Technician in 2006. He was promoted to Customer Support Manager in 2007 and assumed his current role in March 2008.
Technical proficiencies include deep knowledge in a broad range of server hardware, server software, virtualization and infrastructure consolidation, SAN management and Linux and Windows operating systems management.
George Naspo - Board of Directors
George Naspo has over 30 years of business experience and a proven senior executive track record with telecommunications start-ups, turnarounds and emerging growth companies. He joined IKANO Communications, Inc. in 2005 having previously worked at three other Insight portfolio companies. At IKANO, Mr. Naspo has successfully acquired three companies and grown their revenues and EBITDA.
Mr. Naspo provides strategic operational, sales and marketing direction to Virtacore. He has a strong sales and marketing background with prior sales and management positions at Motorola, Timeplex, Sierra Wireless and Securicor Wireless.
Mr. Naspo was recently named Entrepreneur of the Year by his alma mater, University of Toledo. He also holds an MS degree from University of Southern California.
