Virtacore, a leading cloud services provider, is pleased to announce a new service in partnership with Nimble Storage, a leading provider of flash-optimized hybrid storage arrays. The new service will be a first for Nimble Storage customers and enable them to replicate data directly to Virtacore’s cloud using the CASL architecture inherent in Nimble Storage devices. The replication feature only transfers the compressed, block-level changes over to maintain data security, provide off-site data storage and reduce bandwidth utilization. Virtacore is offering additional virtual machine resources on the cloud to customers who take advantage of the service to provide complete disaster recovery options for those who need it.
“We feel like this is a win-win for customers. They get one of the best storage devices on the market from Nimble and the ability to replicate directly to our cloud,” said George Naspo, CEO of Virtacore. “This, coupled with the fact that customers can also take full advantage of our disaster recovery services, creates a strong value proposition in the storage market.”
